After graduating with an accounting degree from Wichita State University, I accepted a position with KPMG Accounting Firm in Dallas. My wife, Katy, and I then moved from our lifelong hometown of Wichita to Dallas.
My career spans a number of accounting firm years and several years in industry. My specialties are primarily a concentration with oil and gas entities, real estate development entities, as well as, high net worth individuals.
I only thought I retired in 2014, but soon came to miss the professionalism of practicing as a CPA. I set out to find a high quality CPA firm where there was a personality fit leading me to affiliate with KepnerCPA as a part-time consultant.
My wife and I spend as much of our “retired time” as possible with our family, which includes two sons, a daughter-in-law, and two year old twin grand-babies.
